We offer a range of micro adventures around Cape Town as well as our legendary multi-day wilderness rafting trips on the Orange River. Thunder Alley multi-day wilderness rafting
Activity Overview
We run our legendary wilderness rafting trips on two sections of the Orange River. The Thunder Alley section starts near Hopetown and is central for people from all over the country. It offers lovely grassland scenery, game viewing and loads of fun rapids (class 2) and a couple of bigger ones as well (optional).
Activity suitable for
You don’t need to be an athlete for either trip but a reasonable level of health and fitness is needed, especially for the Gorge trip. Minimum age for both trips is 8 years old.

There are various packages available, from R5,800 per adult for a 4 day, 5 night trip. All meals, camping at base camp, all boating and safety equipment and qualified guides in the industry approved ratios are included. Gusts just need to bring their personal camping gear and choice of drinks.
Orange Gorge multi-day wilderness rafting
Activity Overview
The Gorge section is more remote and a longer driver for Gauteng and KZN guests. It offer stark and dramatic scenery, a challenging portage and some big rapids (depending on water levels).
Activity suitable for
You don’t need to be an athlete for either trip but a reasonable level of health and fitness is needed, especially for the Gorge trip. Minimum age for both trips is 8 years old.

What to wear
We will supply a full kit list but clients should bring camping gear, paddling clothes and warm change of clothes for the evenings, a water bottle, sun protection and their own choice of drinks.
