In Florida, it’s not uncommon to spot alligators in places such as storm water drains or at the golf course.
Back in May 2019, a family from Georgia were attending a wedding in Miami. They had rented a house, through Airbnb, which was situated alongside a lake and were amused one day to see an alligator on the other side of the fence taunting their little dog. The property was securely fenced so they were confident their furry friend was in no immediate danger.
The next day, after a wonderful day of sightseeing, the family arrived home and were shocked to find the alligator just “chillin” on an alligator inflatable in the pool. Luckily their pooch had been inside all day and was safe.
Just goes to show that clearly alligators also need to kick back and relax every once in a while!
